Kathy Ann Anderson, a CEO of the Shasta Regional Commnity Foundation has witnessed a different view in giving in the far Northern California.
She has seen the beauty and positive results that have grown out of indiviuduals, groups, and organizations that gave back to their communities.
Anderson has raised the foundation's assets to $10 million for the 101 community funds that it manages. Today, the foundation is looking for a replacement for her for she will be retiring after her 10 years tenure.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
